Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!
If you enjoy a beer every so often, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and cheques out of the casino. Grab whatever cash you intend to use on refreshments, tips and few dollars you anticipate to burn and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well experience a success after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply do not mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel might be a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for drastic actions is required. If you play to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to toss aside your cash without a concern, then drink all the gratuitous booze you can handle, but do not carry charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed self throws away every little thing!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the internet to wager in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my house, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink and bet.
Why? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it is clearly adequate to befuddle my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and crazy, cocktail.
